We were intrigued by the flavors offered in this bag of Mexican candy, so we passed the bag around the office and conducted a taste test. Some flavors and reviews:
- The Mini Pelon Pelo Rico: This squeezable gel-like candy has a thick, grainy consistency and tastes a lot like raisins. Interesting, but we liked it.
- The Pepino del Puesto: This is a cucumber flavored sucker, which we thought was super tasty. It comes with chili powder to dip the sucker in. The sucker has a limey cucumber flavor, and combined with the chili powder and salt, you end up tasting sweet, sour, salt and spicy flavors all at once. Wow.
- Mango del Puesto: Another sucker, but mango flavored. This comes with the same chili powder dip. It was fairly gross. Still, it will be interesting to encourage one of your girlfriends to try it.
- Sandia del Puesto: A watermelon flavored sucker with chili powder dip. Very tart and salty.
